Halloween’s this weekend – if you haven’t heard – and your plans may still be up in the air. If they are, don’t fret. You’re a great candidate for a last-minute Halloween vacation!
That’s right. There are all kinds of cities that really come to life during the spooky holiday, and they’re worth checking out on a mini getaway. Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, it couldn’t be easier to make a vacation out of it. But where should you go?
All the major theme parks are putting out all the (scary) stops for All Hallows Eve. From Disneyland in Anaheim to Disney World in Orlando to Six Flags parks across the country, there are all kinds of ghastly fun planned for this weekend (and really, the month of October).
You could also visit year-round Halloween towns like Salem, Massachusetts, or head to one of America’s best haunted houses (like Philadelphia’s Eastern State Penitentiary).
